What has your character been doing since Voldemort's death? ie: the last 9 years

The final battle affected George greatly. For one, he lost Fred and something inside George died that day right along with his twin. Ended up very depressed closely after the final battle and saying goodbye at the funeral. As time wore on though, he depended on his work to make him feel better, finishing small projects that he and Fred only dreamt of or just started to develop. Turned out to be some of the best joke items they’d ever invented...and practical items if you can believe it. He bought a small house in the village near the Burrow but still manages to be at the Burrow more than he is at his own house. George still maintained Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley and still flourished. That’s when he started to talk with his Father about muggles and their culture and inventions. He had also found blueprints of something Fred had been working on that involved both worlds, and George took it on himself to see that the particular invention came to life, as a sort of nod to his twin. He hasn’t really been up to much else. George didn’t date for a long time after the battle and his want for it fizzled after a few years; a couple here and there but nothing to write home about. So he’s been on his own in his house for quite some time. He kept ties with his friends from school that survived; Quidditch teammates and such and he’d visit with them from time to time. He’s also an active member in the Order of the Phoenix with his siblings and parents.
